This 12-kilometre strategic corridor is set to redefine traffic flow in the emirate, supporting economic growth and accommodating Dubai’s rapidly rising population. The most exciting news for daily commuters? Once completed, the project will cut travel times by more than half on key routes.

- Umm Suqeim Road
- Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road

- Massive Reach: The project is expected to serve areas with a combined resident and visitor base of over 650,000 people.
- Unprecedented Capacity: Once fully operational, the corridor will accommodate up to 16,000 vehicles per hour in both directions, managing approximately 130,000 daily trips.
Real Commute Time Savings
The highlight of the project is the dramatic reduction in travel times. For motorists traveling between Umm Al Sheif Street and Emirates Road, travel times will plunge from 33 minutes to just 15 minutes—a time savings of over 54%.
When Will It Be Ready?
Construction is already underway, and the RTA has scheduled the Latifa Bint Hamdan Corridor for completion by the end of 2028.
